The Hierarchy of Consciousness

The pathway of activity in wakefulness is actively intertwined with variety of stages before eventual manifestation for participation among humans.

Apparently, nature of cognition has appeared to pose a difficult task in the area of comprehending how memory maintains consistency and sanity throughout wakeful life and not when unconscious or in dream state.

‘Consciousness’ or what we humans invariably refer to as ‘life’ is divided into stages and these stages have independent roles that they play in reality.

Taking cognizance of the fact that objective life is based on memory and perception, it is however important to note that subjective life is proactively lacking in these two ingredients that makes up the reality of dream state.

First, consciousness can be seen from a physiological perspective, in this case, the host is biological aspect of being, which is obviously the nervous system. In this stage of consciousness, interpretation of events is the only objective tool to address reality.

Taking a clear look at this stage, all what has been perceived and observed are narrowly confined to our cognitive capacity to be conscious. Furthermore, knowledge is the unilateral agent between ourselves and others, this is the stage at which science is dominant.

The duality of our being is also visible here, because the dream state of this stage is the reality or subjective state of the last stage we shall be looking at soon.

Second, “internal dialogue" of activity is often a function of outward exposure to events. As a result, consciousness at this stage has to do with pre-ordered pattern of activity, meaning objectivity is lacking - and control is out-rightly absent as a result of “cognitive deviation” from the first stage.

This level of consciousness is what determines the innate drives of organic life, memory in this stage, is not a function of acquired knowledge but of natural occurrence that strives with precognitive instincts, this form of knowledge is what facilitates communication among various organs that make up the system.

Third and lastly is the “absolute mental motion” In this stage of consciousness there is neither precognitive, cognitive nor recognitive limitations. In this dimension, no form of knowledge is relevant and this is because no physical limit of beinghood  is present. With this stage, all what is needed is energy and attention.

The civilizations that are able to assume and operate this stage have no needs for technology of any form. Some civilizations started evolution from this stage and others started from the first stage. However, the advantage of starting from this stage is, any mystery related to knowledge and knowing, which is predominant in the first stage is absent here, that is, all knowledge is accessible as a natural capacity.

Bye and large, consciousnes, not physics, is ultimately the last resort to understanding and appreciating core reality, these stages are however mutually dependent as far as intention of existence is taken into account.

As seen above, the first two stages are purely physics, and that is the stage “Earth-humans” are currently dominating and the limitations and boundary has been observed and reached respectively.

This invariably means that the next stage or final stage of civilization on Earth is going to be within the limelight of the last stage and this means only the prepared and ready minded humans will be carried along.
